Caring & Commitment in Action
Assistance League of Rancho San Dieguito is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization. Our Philanthropic programs are dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of children and adults affected by trauma, violence and poverty.

As a 501(c)(3) organization, 100% of the proceeds from funding stay in, and are committed to the local communities that our chapter serves.

Since 1993, we've put commitment and caring into action in Carmel Valley, Del Mar, Solana Beach, Cardiff, Encinitas and Carlsbad.

  • Senior Days at the Thrift Shop

    Bargains for all at the Assistance League Thrift Shop in Encinitas. Open 6 days each week from 10:30 to 4:30 (closed Sunday)

    Once each day on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Seniors (55 and over) can purchase one item, except furniture, for 50% reduction.

    Customers say that our merchandise, all donated, is unique. Many fabulous finds available for all.

    AND, your money supports program that aid neighbors in need.
  • Board Meeting
    May 2014
    Each month the Board of Directors meets to guide the chapter's activities for the month, listen to reports from the VP of the Thrift Store and the Treasurer and to discuss advancement of the strategic plan.

    The final Board meeting of the chapter's current Board, will be held on May 7th.

    Without doubt, the big news this month is the national recognition our organization has received by winning the public vote for the National Make a Difference Day All-Star Award.

    Once again, our ability to mobilize our volunteer members nationwide has driven our success, not only through our second annual national book drive, but also through driving our personal networks to vote for us online - so thank you to all of you who voted, encouraged your friends and family to vote, and vote often - this is your award!
